As specified by the CEC, the composition of the TEC is formed for a five-year term, including an equal number of representatives from political parties and local self-government bodies.
“Currently, the Bishkek TEC needs to replenish its reserve, as it lacks representatives from political parties and local self-government. It is important to note that members of the election commission cannot be deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh or local kenesh, officials, judges, employees of law enforcement and fiscal authorities, military personnel, candidates and their representatives, individuals with citizenship of other states, as well as those whose criminal record has not been expunged or canceled, members of other election commissions, and individuals released from duties for negative reasons,” the official statement says.
Political parties must submit documentation by 12:00 PM on November 17, while citizens and public associations must do so by 6:00 PM on November 14.
The list of required documents for inclusion in the reserve of the Bishkek TEC:
- a statement of consent to work in the TEC and a commitment to comply with the electoral legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- a copy of the passport;
- a biography, including information about work, study, and education (this can be a personal data sheet or a resume);
- contact details: residential address and phone numbers;
- protocol for the nomination of the candidate.
There cannot be more than one representative from each political party in the TEC.
