The Central Election Commission (CEC) is beginning to take measures against candidates who have violated electoral legislation, as reported by the chairman of the commission, Tynchtyk Shainazarov.
The head of the CEC emphasized the inadmissibility of bribing voters and using illegal campaigning methods, as well as actions that could tarnish the honor of other election participants.
President Sadyr Japarov is personally overseeing the process of conducting early parliamentary elections, highlighting the importance of their honesty and transparency.
"Campaigning must be conducted in strict accordance with the law. In cases of violations, serious sanctions will be applied, up to the annulment of the candidate's registration. There are no untouchables — all candidates are equal before the law," the commission noted.
Shainazarov urged all participants in the electoral process to comply with the legislation and respect the citizens' choice.
