The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes the importance of complying with tax legislation for candidates seeking to enter the Jogorku Kenesh.

The press service of the agency reported that the income of individuals received from candidates and political parties from their electoral funds for performing the functions of authorized representatives, observers, or representatives, as well as for providing campaigning services during elections, is not subject to income tax.

It is additionally clarified that the activities of campaigners during the election campaign are not classified as a type of activity subject to taxation based on a patent.

It is important to note that according to the Law "On State Social Insurance Tariffs," the remuneration of campaigners, observers, and authorized representatives is exempt from state social insurance contributions.

When taxing the specified income, candidates must adhere to the current tax legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
