Today, on election day, more than 14,000 police officers have been called to enhanced service to ensure safety and order. This was announced at a briefing by Sultan Makilov, head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He noted that personnel have also been sent to regional divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for monitoring and rapid response to situations.
“In addition, groups of the most experienced officers have been formed to document violations, who will respond to reports received through social media,” he added.
