In anticipation of the holidays, on December 29, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country announced a transition to an enhanced work mode. All necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of citizens on New Year's Eve.

To check the readiness of the police to perform their duties, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the first deputy and his deputies, conducted garrison roll calls and drill inspections across all regions of the country. During this time, representatives of the ministry also traveled to the regions to assess the organization of service and readiness to fulfill tasks.
Each head of the main department and the management of the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been assigned responsibility for specific regional units. This is necessary to ensure control, coordination of actions, and operational response during the holiday events.

The police are taking all measures to ensure that the New Year holidays pass peacefully and safely. Enhanced patrols will be on duty in places of mass gatherings, on the streets, and in public spaces, creating conditions for a comfortable and safe celebration of the New Year for all citizens and guests of the country.
