According to the information from the agency, on December 4, control measures were carried out in Osh based on the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 282 dated May 28, 2025, aimed at preparing the economy and the population for the autumn-winter period of 2025/2026.
During the inspection, facilities such as "Heat Supply" and several social institutions were examined to evaluate their readiness for winter conditions.
Particular attention was paid to preventing emergency situations and ensuring the safety of citizens. The following aspects were checked as part of the raid:
• quality of coal;
• radiation levels;
• condition of dust and gas filtration systems.
As a result of the inspection, measures were taken to improve the technical safety of the facilities and ensure their uninterrupted operation during the winter period.
As part of this raid, 5 vehicles were stopped, and their smoke levels and the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere were checked. Administrative measures were applied to drivers who violated environmental standards in accordance with Article 234 of the Code "On Offenses," concerning exceeding permissible levels of pollutants in emissions.
Following the inspection, 2 protocols were drawn up against individuals, and fines totaling 15,000 soms were imposed.
“The main task of the event is to improve air quality, ensure environmental safety, and strictly adhere to legislative norms. The environmental and technical inspection will continue its activities to prevent violations,” the official statement noted.
