According to the report, the main goal of these measures is to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent potential fires, injuries, and other dangerous incidents related to the use of low-quality pyrotechnics or products that are in illegal circulation.
"Local law enforcement officers are conducting raids at retail outlets, markets, and public places to identify and suppress instances of illegal sale of pyrotechnic products," the agency's statement notes.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also emphasized that illegal trade and use of pyrotechnics is subject to liability under the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
