In order to ensure food security and comply with state price regulation on meat products, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR) conducted field commissions involving employees from the Bishkek city administration, the antimonopoly service, law enforcement agencies, and representatives from major retail outlets dealing in meat.

As of August 11, 2025, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, state price regulation on meat is in effect, which should not exceed 790 soms per kilogram.

During the meetings, entrepreneurs were informed about the importance of adhering to the established rules and preventing unauthorized price increases. In particular, attention was drawn to the fact that any instances of artificial price inflation will be addressed in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, and those responsible will be held accountable.
