
At a meeting organized by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, measures to stabilize meat prices were discussed with participants from major city markets and relevant government agencies. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the minister urged participants to actively cooperate in this direction.

Bakyt Sydykov emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the price norms established by the antimonopoly service. “Every major market can play an important role in stabilizing prices, rather than just observing,” he noted.
Erkin Salymbekov, head of the "Dordoy-Dyikan" market, announced the readiness to provide farmers with trading spaces for selling meat on a free basis for three months.
“We will provide everything necessary, including refrigeration equipment and hanging racks for carcasses,” he added.
The heads of two other major markets in Bishkek, Osh and Alamedin, also confirmed their readiness to provide free trading areas for farmers.
Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Service Muratbek Imankulov reported that in the last three months, 677 inspections were conducted at 2900 facilities.
“As a result, 17 entities were issued orders, and 78 fines totaling 316 thousand soms were imposed. In the future, monitoring will be carried out in a strict and systematic manner with personal responsibility for all participants in the price formation chain for socially significant products,” noted Muratbek Imankulov.
