The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of active monitoring of prices for essential goods throughout the country.
Price control will be carried out by the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, covering all trading platforms, including markets, shops, and supermarkets.
As clarified by the ministry, this measure is aimed at preventing unjustified price increases and maintaining stability in the consumer market.
Current average prices as of November 12, 2025 (in soms):
- Wheat flour grade 1 (local) — 35.1 per kg
- Wheat flour grade 1 (imported) — 44.6 per kg
- Bread (wheat) — 65.7 per kg
- Flatbread — 96.4 per kg
- Pasteurized milk (2.5–3.2%) — 77.8 per liter
- Refined vegetable oil — 156.8 per liter
- Butter (72.5%) — 644.5 per kg
- Beef (except boneless) — 675.0 per kg
- Lamb (except boneless) — 674.7 per kg
- Sugar — 75.6 per kg
- Polished rice — 144.6 per kg
- Weight pasta (vermicelli) — 75.7 per kg
- Chicken eggs — 103.1 for 10 pcs.
- Potatoes — 40.6 per kg
- Carrots — 47.5 per kg
- Onions — 29.5 per kg
- Local coal — 6,943.8 per ton
- Gasoline A-92 — 74.9 per liter
- Diesel fuel — 80.6 per liter
- Auto gas (LPG) — 38.9 per liter
- Liquefied gas (10 kg) — 735.2 per cylinder

- Naryn region: from 620 to 680 soms/kg depending on the area
- Issyk-Kul region: from 650 to 690 soms/kg
- Talas region: 630–650 soms/kg
- Osh and Osh region: 670–680 soms/kg
- Jalal-Abad region: 580–690 soms/kg
- Batken region: 650–680 soms/kg
