In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 949 dated November 5, 2025, new energy-saving measures are being introduced in educational institutions across the country. This was reported by the Ministry of Education.
According to this document, after the completion of the educational process, within 60 minutes (including cleaning time), it is necessary to disconnect the electricity supply.
As clarified by the ministry, this restriction does not apply to engineering systems and equipment necessary for the functioning and preservation of buildings, as well as to institutions where students reside, including dormitories.
These measures are aimed at reducing electricity consumption and supporting the stable operation of the country's energy system during the autumn-winter period.
