According to the press service, the new equipment will significantly enhance the fight against illegal trafficking and circulation of drugs, as well as ensure more transparent customs control.
“In response to a request from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2025, Russia provided technical assistance. By order of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service organized the procurement and transfer of specialized vehicles and equipment for the needs of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan,” the statement notes.
During the official transfer, six vehicles were handed over, which were specially adapted for the safe and comfortable transportation of service dogs, as well as 60 video recorders for the staff.
