In the two months following the transfer of management of the State Enterprise "Center 'Single Window' in the field of foreign trade" to the Customs Service, there has been a 34% increase in services for entrepreneurs compared to previous periods. The Chairman of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Saliev, shared this information on the air of Birinchi Radio.
He noted that alongside the increase in the number of requests, revenues also rose by 17%.
“We plan significant development of the 'Single Window' system. Entrepreneurs should not face the necessity of obtaining permits from one authority and then transferring them to another. The 'Single Window' system should ensure the receipt of all necessary documents independently. The transfer of management of this system to the Customs Service is a great responsibility and a sign of trust from the country's leadership,” he added.
Saliev emphasized that in many countries, similar systems operate specifically within customs organizations. Previously, the 'Single Window' was under the control of the Ministry of Economy, but unfortunately, entrepreneurs could not take full advantage of its benefits, and the quality of service left much to be desired. In response to requests from the business community, a decision was made to transfer management of the 'Single Window' to the Customs Service to improve the efficiency and quality of services,” he said.
Additionally, he mentioned that the 'Single Window' system allows for time savings and minimizes the influence of the human factor.
We remind you that according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decree No. 334 dated June 12, 2025, the State Enterprise "Center 'Single Window' in the field of foreign trade" was transferred to the jurisdiction of the State Customs Service.
