The Bishkek City Hall opened a point at the Osh market where meat is sold for 660 soms
Due to the sharp rise in meat prices, which has become a serious social problem, the Bishkek City Hall, in collaboration with the Antimonopoly Service, has intensified control over the food markets in the city. This was reported by the press service of the city hall.

It was reported that control raids took place today at the "Alamedin" and "Osh Bazaars" markets.

As part of these activities, entrepreneurs were informed about the importance of complying with legislation and price limits on meat, excluding boneless meat. In case of identifying inflated prices, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with current legislation. The city hall has also organized a new social point at the Osh market, where meat will be sold at a reduced price — no more than 660 soms per kilogram.

The municipality and the Antimonopoly Service will continue their joint efforts to stabilize prices for socially significant food products. Regular control and explanatory activities will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
