According to the press service of GKNB, starting from August 11, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic introduced state regulation of meat prices, limiting their maximum cost to 690 soms per kilogram.
During the meetings, entrepreneurs were informed about the importance of adhering to the new norms of state regulation and preventing artificial price increases for meat products.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that in the event of price inflation for meat products, individuals engaged in such activities will be held accountable under the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
GKNB continues to carry out activities aimed at ensuring food security and preventing artificial price increases for essential goods.
Additionally, GKNB warns that any attempts to sabotage the pricing policy regarding meat products that go beyond the law will be considered a criminal offense.
