The specialized service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) conducted an operation to detain Dosonov, known by the nickname Dodik, born in 1984 in Jalal-Abad. The man had been placed on an international wanted list.
According to the press service, the detention took place on the territory of Turkey. Dodik was wanted in connection with a criminal case initiated for large-scale fraud, under part 4 of article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Investigative actions revealed that Dodik deceitfully acquired land plots from citizens and sold them to third parties. In addition, he received an apartment from one of the construction companies in Manas to finance his criminal activities.
