As reported by the press service of the State National Security Committee, it was revealed that the detainees were involved in extorting funds from citizens of the NooKen district, claiming that this money was allegedly intended to support inmates in correctional facilities.
The investigation established that they used both physical and psychological pressure, forcing victims to take out and pay for large loans in other people's names.
It was additionally established that the detainees acted with the support of an active member of the organized criminal group, E. Murzakmetov, known by the nickname Chach. In 2022, N.R.H., known as Rocky, was appointed as the overseer for the NooKen district.
