During the investigation, it was revealed that one of the CEC employees, Zh.E.Z., along with intermediaries D.E.M. and D.K.E., developed a scheme in which they collected money from citizens, including foreigners, for obtaining government services.
According to the agency's information, the intermediaries found clients and offered them "expedited assistance" in processing documents, guaranteeing quick handling of requests. They charged fees ranging from 100 to 10,000 US dollars, depending on the complexity of the service involved. The funds were then distributed among all participants in the scheme.
The intermediaries pre-arranged with the CEC employee the time for submitting documents, allowing them to bypass the queue and receive priority processing.
As a result of the operation, Zh.E.Z., D.E.M., and D.K.E. were detained and placed in a detention center. The investigation is currently ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this scheme, including employees of the state institution "Kyzmat" and participants in similar fraudulent activities.
Additionally, it became known that some CEC employees and private individuals with housing were engaged in fictitious registration of foreign citizens who did not actually reside at the specified addresses. Preventive measures were conducted regarding these individuals, explaining the inadmissibility of such actions.
