According to the victim, from November 5 to 6, the criminals, posing as employees of the State Committee for National Security, the National Bank, the Anti-Corruption Service, and an investigator from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, deceitfully convinced him of his involvement in financing terrorist organizations and special operations. Under this pretext, they forced the man to transfer his funds through ATMs located in the capital's shopping centers.
The total amount of damage amounted to 7.5 million soms.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud committed by a group of individuals in a particularly large amount by prior agreement.
During operational-search activities, B.A., born in 2007, and M.B. were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation revealed that one of the detainees, M.B., used the Telegram messenger under the nickname @Grinch911 to acquire bank cards issued to fictitious individuals. These cards were used to activate and implement fraudulent schemes related to cybercrimes and money laundering.
Currently, law enforcement agencies continue to conduct operational-search and technical activities aimed at identifying all participants in the criminal scheme.
