He emphasized that the law must be observed by everyone, without exception.
“No merits, ranks, or length of service can justify unlawful actions. Every violation of the law or service discipline will be subjected to comprehensive and strict legal assessment,” Niyazbekov noted.
The minister added that serious measures are being taken based on the results of internal investigations, including dismissal and criminal prosecution in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“Our position remains unchanged: individuals who violate the law cannot represent state authority and wear a uniform,” he emphasized.
In addition, Niyazbekov touched on the important issue of domestic violence, noting that such actions cannot be justified by any circumstances, whether they are domestic conflicts or emotional states.
“A home should be a place of safety, not fear and humiliation. Every case of domestic violence requires immediate response from law enforcement agencies,” he stated.
The minister also reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is strengthening preventive measures, as well as monitoring the activities of its personnel, introducing personal accountability for leaders at all levels.
