At the People's Kurultai on December 25, President Sadyr Japarov announced plans to implement a number of measures aimed at supporting businesses in 2026.

According to him, one of the key aspects of the National Development Program until 2030 is the support of small and medium-sized enterprises, which play an important role in the country's economy by creating jobs and contributing to the sustainable development of society.

The president noted: "Every citizen of Kyrgyzstan should have the opportunity to engage in their favorite work, to work honestly, and to look to the future with confidence."

He also emphasized that over the past year, there has been a significant increase in the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the country's gross domestic product (GDP).

Sadyr Japarov added that the government continues to work on creating comfortable conditions for doing business by implementing transparent systems and protecting entrepreneurs from administrative barriers.

Addressing the problems faced by entrepreneurs who are subjected to frequent inspections or encounter injustices, the president assured that he is aware of the current situation.

He announced that after the New Year, a meeting is planned with the heads of the tax service, law enforcement agencies, and business representatives to develop new solutions and provide additional relief for entrepreneurs.
