He noted that until 2020, many factions acted in the interests of corrupt schemes and were linked to organized crime, which undermined citizens' trust in deputies and state institutions.
The president added: "Some deputies were only engaged in promoting their own image, while others wrote laws that benefited them or foreign organizations for money. My former colleagues know this well."
Sadyr Japarov expressed hope that the new convocation would not follow this path. He also urged deputies not to demand the presence of ministers at committee meetings, emphasizing that they work around the clock.
