A recent tragedy in Kyrgyzstan, resulting in the death of a woman, has sparked widespread public outcry. On this matter, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kamchybek Tashiev, emphasized that the state will respond firmly to any violence against women and children.
“Recently, the whole country learned about the terrible fate of a woman, a mother of three children, who became a victim of a brutal crime. As a man, a father, and a representative of the state, I want to state: no circumstances can justify such an act,” Tashiev noted.
He added that words about “family conflicts,” “emotions,” or “alcohol” have no significance when it comes to cold-blooded murder. “This is not just a domestic conflict. This is murder,” stated the head of the State Committee for National Security.
Tashiev emphasized that the state must and will resolutely protect women and children. “Anyone who dares to raise a hand or use a weapon against a woman must know: punishment will be severe and inevitable. The law makes no exceptions in such cases,” he said.
According to him, an investigation is currently underway, and the guilty party will be held accountable according to the law. “This is our principled position. We act not for the sake of reporting, but for the sake of justice and the safety of our citizens,” he added.
The head of the State Committee for National Security expressed sincere condolences to the children and relatives of the deceased, stating that “the state will always be on the side of the victim, not the violence.”
