The Chairman of the State National Security Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Kamchybek Tashiev, visited the border outpost "Zhany-Zher," located in the Batken region. During his visit, he familiarized himself with the living conditions of the border guards, their daily lives, and the lives of their families, as reported by the press service of the State National Security Committee.

Tashiev was pleasantly surprised to learn that the servicemen are studying to play the komuz and emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.

"The komuz should come first, and the guitar second. This is the legacy of our ancestors and part of our identity. It is thanks to the komuz that we remain Kyrgyz and will pass this tradition on to future generations," he stressed.

While discussing their service and the comfort of living conditions with the servicemen, Tashiev learned that there are no informal relationships among them.

In his address to the border guards, he emphasized the importance of mutual respect and cohesion within the team:

"You bear a great responsibility; you hold weapons in your hands. Support each other and help those in need. There should be no oppression—only mutual assistance and camaraderie," he added.

Concluding his visit, the head of the State National Security Committee honored the memory of fallen heroes at the Eternal Flame on the territory of the outpost and familiarized himself with the living conditions of the servicemen's families.

After that, Tashiev handed over the keys to 64 service apartments to the servicemen stationed in the city of Sulukta.

Speaking to the personnel and their families, he noted that after resolving issues regarding the state border with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the government plans to strengthen support for border and defense structures.

Upcoming plans include the construction of new service housing and infrastructure facilities in remote and border settlements.

Additionally, Tashiev expressed gratitude to the families of the servicemen and announced that three of the 64 apartments would be allocated to medical workers in Sulukta for the development of the social sphere.
