According to the committee's press service, 60 generals participated in the event, making this meeting unique in the country's history.
As part of the event, a tour of the SCNS building was organized, where participants familiarized themselves with the working conditions of the security service employees.
Then, Tashiev held a roundtable meeting with the generals, during which an exchange of opinions took place.
Addressing the senior military officials, he noted that the contribution of each of them, their life and professional experience, as well as their service activities, play an important role for the state and will be remembered.
“Today, at the request of President S. Japarov, we would like to express our respect to you. This is the first such meeting in the history of our state. I ask you not to perceive it as a political or other statement — it is merely a manifestation of our respect for you. Each of you has held leadership positions and has witnessed various historical stages of the country, serving with honor. Your contribution will always be remembered,” Tashiev noted.
In addition, during the event, each general was awarded a monetary prize on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
