The Cabinet of Ministers of the country has decided to allocate additional financial resources for increasing the salaries of scientific workers. The order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
According to this document, the Ministry of Finance is tasked with allocating from the republican budget in 2025:
19.24 million soms to the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations;
113.69 million soms to the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The allocated funds will be used to increase the salaries of employees of scientific institutions.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance must take these changes into account when preparing the draft law on the adjustment of the republican budget for 2025-2027 and provide a report on the implementation of the order to the relevant committee of the newly elected Jogorku Kenesh.
The Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations, as well as the National Academy of Sciences, are required to ensure the targeted use of the allocated funds.
