The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Human Rights Action Plan for 2025–2027, issuing order No. 989-T on November 14. This document aims to ensure the fulfillment of the country's international obligations in the field of human rights and freedoms, as well as to implement the recommendations issued by UN treaty bodies.

Responsible state bodies, including the secretariat of the children's rights representative, the ombudsman's office, the Bar Association, as well as the president's representatives in the regions and local government bodies, have been instructed to strictly adhere to the plan within the established deadlines.

Every six months, no later than the 10th day of the month following the reporting period, the responsible structures are required to provide information on the progress of the plan's implementation to the Secretariat of the Human Rights Coordination Council, which operates under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Secretariat of the HRC, representing the Ministry of Justice, will report on the results achieved at final meetings before the chairman of the Coordination Council.

Personal responsibility has also been established for the heads of state bodies for the quality and timely execution of the plan. Funding for the activities will be provided from the republican budget, as well as from donor funds and other permitted sources.
