During a working visit to Moscow, Deputy Ombudsman Aichurok Nazaralieva held a meeting with Kyrgyz citizens, which was reported by the ombudsman's press service.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia with the participation of representatives from the Office of the Ombudsman for Human Rights, as well as employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, and the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who study and work in Russia attended the meeting, including relatives of those who are in places of deprivation of liberty. The students reported that their universities did not extend their stay, which led to violations of migration rules and forced them to either pay fines or leave the country.

Sergey Futo, a representative of the Russian Ombudsman’s Office, stated that Uzbek students are experiencing similar difficulties. He assured that students should not leave the country, as this issue will be under the control of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Russia.

Migrants also expressed dissatisfaction regarding difficulties in enrolling their children in educational institutions, issues with the "Amina" application, and delays in salary payments. Representatives of the company "Energotek" confirmed that 150 Kyrgyz citizens have not received over 30 million rubles, and this issue is under review by the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region.

Aichurok Nazaralieva called on the Russian authorities to assist in protecting the labor rights of Kyrgyz citizens.

Additionally, she visited the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens in Sakharovo, where 160 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are held, including 11 women. No complaints about the conditions of detention were reported; however, migrants mentioned a lack of medical assistance.

According to data from the Ombudsman’s Institute, in the first nine months of 2025, 2,808 citizens were deported from Russia to Kyrgyzstan through the "Sakharovo" center (in 2024, this figure was 3,928).
