More than 80 migrants detained in Moscow after mass brawl

Some face deportation from Russia

As a result of a mass brawl that took place on October 25 in the courtyard of the residential complex "Prokshino," located in New Moscow, the police detained more than 80 people. This was reported by Irina Volk, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Among the detainees, 19 are suspected of hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code), and two of them may face the loss of Russian citizenship. Administrative protocols were also drawn up for 65 participants in the conflict under various articles. Additionally, some offenders may be subject to deportation from Russia.

Eyewitnesses reported that the brawl was instigated by migrant workers who ran around the area with metal objects, shovels, and road signs, as well as throwing stones at each other, which led to damage to several cars and shattered windows on the ground floors of nearby buildings.
