Kyrgyzstanis in Moscow reported that the company has not paid salaries amounting to 30 million rubles, - ombudsman

In Moscow, a meeting took place between representatives of the employees of the company "Energotek" from the Moscow region and Aichurok Nazaralieva, the deputy ombudsman. It was announced that more than 150 Kyrgyz citizens are not receiving their wages, with the total debt exceeding 30 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the ombudsman institute on October 28.

During her visit to Moscow, Nazaralieva met with Kyrgyz citizens living and studying in Russia. The event also included representatives from the human rights commissioner in Russia, as well as employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, alongside workers from the Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan.

Zharkyn Galieva, representing the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, noted that this issue is currently being reviewed by the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region. Nazaralieva appealed to the representatives of the office of the human rights commissioner in Russia for assistance in protecting the labor rights of "Energotek" employees.

The meeting also discussed important topics for migrants related to violations of their labor rights, delays, and non-payments of wages. Kyrgyz citizens shared the problems they face when enrolling their children in schools and kindergartens, as well as difficulties in using the "Amina" app designed for migrants.

Employees of the ombudsman institute and the human rights commissioner in Russia provided legal consultations for compatriots. All statements were forwarded to Tatyana Moskalkova, the human rights commissioner in the Russian Federation.
