The President signed a Decree "On the National Program 'Healthy Heart'"
To achieve this goal, it is planned to create a sustainable, integrated, and patient-centered system that will provide prevention, early detection, treatment, and rehabilitation with equal access to medical care for all segments of the population.
The Program includes strategies aimed at the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases, ensuring a full cycle of medical care—from self-monitoring at the family level to high-tech assistance in specialized centers.
Caring for the health of citizens is a priority of the state policy of Kyrgyzstan and an important aspect of the country's socio-economic development. Health care for the population is perceived not only as a humanitarian task but also as a strategic task for sustainable development.
In the context of changes in the healthcare system, the growing burden of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases, an aging population, and the transformation of lifestyles, it is especially important to implement modern, integrated, and sustainable solutions for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
According to the Decree, in order to improve the quality and accessibility of medical care, as well as to ensure the effective implementation of state policy in the field of healthcare, the following measures are established:
1. The following are approved:
1) The National Program "Healthy Heart" for 2025–2030;
2) The Action Plan for the implementation of this program for the same period;
2. State authorities involved in the implementation of this Plan are required to:
1) strictly adhere to the deadlines for the implementation of activities;
2) provide reports on the progress of the implementation of the Plan to the Ministry of Health no later than the 10th of the month following the reporting half-year.
