In anticipation of International Children's Day, the secretariat of the Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President's Administration, together with the Children's Fund (UNICEF), organized a series of meetings titled "Children Speak - 2025." This was reported by the Bishkek mayor's office.
The capital's municipality joined the project. Mayor Aibek Junushaliev held a meeting with children in a warm and open atmosphere. Participants in the conversation had the opportunity to freely share their thoughts on what is important to them in terms of well-being, safety, and a comfortable learning environment, as well as to ask questions of interest.
The mayor emphasized the importance of environmental education and urged children to actively engage in the life of their schools.
The initiative "Children Speak - 2025" plays a vital role in improving the system for protecting children's rights in Kyrgyzstan, fosters a culture of respect for children's opinions, and strengthens interaction between government structures, society, families, and the children themselves.
