The sixth meeting of the Commission of Ombudsmen for Children's Rights of the CIS member states took place in Minsk. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, the event was attended by commission members and representatives of various government agencies, including staff from the offices of the Ombudsmen for Children's Rights from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the Executive Committee of the CIS.

Asel Chynbaeva, the Ombudsman for Children's Rights of Kyrgyzstan, delivered a report on one of the most pressing issues in the field of child rights protection.

She spoke about the measures being taken in Kyrgyzstan to work with minors who have come into conflict with the law, specifically how children who have committed minor offenses for the first time are removed from criminal proceedings. Asel Chynbaeva emphasized the need to create conditions for the resocialization of such children and their successful integration into society.

Additionally, the participants of the meeting discussed issues related to begging and vagrancy among children, the development of family-based care for orphans and children without parental care, as well as the organization of their recreation and health improvement.
