During the conference, participants discussed various aspects of dietetics, including preventive measures and the integration of nutrition science into medical practice. The discussion also highlighted the importance of experience exchange among specialists and the promotion of healthy eating principles in Central Asia.
The main objective of the event was to improve the health level of the population and to inform about the significance of proper nutrition.
During the seminar, it became known that there is an iron deficiency among children aged 6 months to 5 years in Kyrgyzstan, leading to anemia issues. In this regard, conference participants proposed the development of special nutrition programs for kindergartens and schools that address these problems.
