The Experience of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in Organizing Labor Migration is of Interest to Russia

A proposal for the necessity of studying the experience of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the field of labor migration has been made in Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ombudsman.

Tatyana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, raised the issue of spreading the successful experience of organized recruitment of labor migrants from these two countries throughout the CIS.

According to information presented at the session dedicated to international cooperation and the protection of migrants' rights, Moskalkova suggested implementing the well-established model of labor migration from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in practice.

Tatyana Moskalkova's vision includes concluding agreements on the recruitment of labor migrants with other Commonwealth states to realize this idea.
