Within the framework of the event, three key areas will be addressed, which play an important role in ensuring the sustainable development of the country:
1. Strengthening Kyrgyzstan's position as a water and mountain center in the region — focusing on strategic interests in water-energy security and creating a sustainable dialogue on water and climate issues in Kyrgyzstan.
2. Attracting international investments and support for the protection of glaciers and water ecosystems — this includes the protection and restoration of glaciers, lakes, reservoirs, and mountain ecosystems, as well as initiatives to create national funds for the preservation of glaciers and Lake Issyk-Kul as a means of internal consolidation.
3. Supporting national interests in water security and sustainable development. It is important to draw the attention of the global community to issues of water scarcity, glacier melting, and the state of mountain ecosystems, as they directly affect water security.
The conference is organized by the Public Foundation "Green Energy" in collaboration with the J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, with the support of the Center for Environmental Initiatives "Oiy Ordo."
