During the two-day program, current issues of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diabetes were discussed, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and improvement of the quality of medical care. Participants took part in plenary sessions, lectures, and thematic sections covering topics such as epidemiology, new technologies, global trends, complications of diabetes, and metabolic disorders, as well as issues related to primary healthcare.
One of the key events of the conference was the round table "Dialogue for Health," where representatives of the Ministry of Health, regional specialists, members of the Association, and patients openly discussed pressing issues related to diabetes and possible steps to improve the endocrinological services in the country. At the end of the meeting, participants signed a resolution outlining the main areas of work for the near future.
The conference also included an exhibition of scientific literature and materials from the Association.
The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants and partners for their contribution to the development of endocrinology and support for diabetes patients in Kyrgyzstan.
