As specified by the agency, the conference took place at the Kennedy Center and gathered representatives from companies in Central Asia and the USA.
The opening of the conference was marked by speeches from the U.S. Special Envoy for Central and South Asia, Sergio Gor, and U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick.
“Kyrgyzstan, in collaboration with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), co-chaired a key session dedicated to investments in Central Asia. During a separate session called ‘Deal Zone,’ memoranda of understanding were signed between the state bank and Citi Bank, as well as between the state bank and Oppenheimer, and between ‘Kyrgyz Temir Zholu’ and All American Rail Group,” the press service reports.
