Theatrical Week in Bishkek Concluded in Honor of the 70th Anniversary of People's Artist Zamir Sooronbaev

The final of the theater week dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Zamir Sooronbaev took place in Bishkek. The press service of the Ministry of Culture reported on this event.

Important figures such as the Deputy Head of the Political and Economic Research Department of the Presidential Administration Oktay Kapalbaev, advisor to the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mukhtaly Bektenaliev, as well as the First Deputy Mayor of Bishkek and other honored guests were present at the event.

The event concluded with a performance of "Kurmanjan Datka," based on the works of T. Kasymbekov and K. Saktanov.

During the theater week, the following productions directed by Zamir Sooronbaev were presented to the audience:

- November 6 — "Semeteichi Seydene" (adaptation by Zh. Isabaeva and B. Seyitbekova, directed by E. Toktomusheva) at the Talas Regional Musical Drama Theater named after K. Medetbekov;

- November 7 — "Öksügü kүchtyu ömür" (directed by Ch. Kalybekova) at the Batken Regional Musical Drama Theater named after A. Zhainakov;

- November 8 — "Kurmanjan Datka" (directed by T. Kasymbekov and K. Saktanov) at the Kyrgyz Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunov.
