According to the theater's information, the production is directed by Ulanmyrza Karypbaev, with set design by Sadyr Niyazakunov and costume design by Zuhra Mukambetova. The choreography is developed by Rezeda Gayanova from St. Petersburg.
"Uncle's Dream" presents a provincial anecdote that Dostoevsky expands into a broad gallery of characters and morals. It is one of the most vivid satirical works, in which the author ruthlessly exposes the hypocrisy and despotism hidden behind beautiful words and grandiloquent phrases.
