According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, representatives of government agencies, employees of artistic associations and scientific institutions, as well as artists, art historians, and followers of Sadykov's creative legacy participated in the celebration.
Those who spoke with congratulations at the event included State Secretary Marat Imankulov, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Askarala Madaminov, advisor to the presidential representative in the Batken region Mamasydyk Sultanov, academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mitalip Mamytov, public figure Dosbol Nur uulu, as well as professor and art historian Lyudmila Prytkova and Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences Bermet Khudaibergenova.
In honor of Sadykov's anniversary, a special book by art historian Bayyshbek Budaychiev has been prepared, with a print run of 500 copies. Additionally, anniversary celebrations dedicated to the sculptor's 90th anniversary are planned for 2026.
Turgunbay Sadykov is considered the founder of national monumental sculpture and became the initiator of a new direction in Kyrgyz art, nurturing many masters of visual arts and making a significant contribution to the cultural development of the country.
