A Lecture on Soviet Art Will Take Place at the National Museum of Fine Arts on November 1

The National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev announces a lecture titled "Visual Arts of Kyrgyzstan in the 1940s-1950s," scheduled for November 1, 2025.

The event will be conducted by Aina Moldokmatova, an art historian and leading research associate of the museum's scientific and educational department, as well as a member of the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan.

During the lecture, key points of the development of Kyrgyz art in the post-war period will be discussed, including the peculiarities of the fusion of landscape and genre scenes, as well as the creation of portrait images of contemporaries and the poetic elements of socialist realism.

The lecture will begin at 14:00 at the address: 196 J. Abdrakhmanov St., 1st floor, in the cinema conference hall. The duration will be 1.5 hours.
