At the IZO Museum, an exhibition by artist Boobek Arykov titled "Return to the Source" has opened.

On October 30, a personal exhibition of the artist and sculptor Boobek Arykov, titled "Return to the Source," was opened at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Boobek Arykov completed his education at a city vocational technical school, where he studied wood processing. After that, he continued his studies at the Tashkent State Institute of Theatre and Arts named after Ostrovsky and the Almaty State Institute of Theatre and Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov, where he studied under the guidance of the renowned sculptor T. Dosmaganbetov.

Arykov is a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic and has participated in plein airs both in Kyrgyzstan and in Antalya (Turkey). He created a bust of Chingiz Aitmatov and led a group of sculptors who decorated the hall of the "Manas-2" airport, where bronze busts of outstanding figures of the country are installed.

The exhibition features numerous works by the author that showcase the traditions of the Kyrgyz people, their way of life, and the inseparable connection with nature. Through painting, graphics, and sculpture, Arykov conveys the spiritual world of his people and the beauty of his native land.

The exhibition includes portraits of famous personalities, images of heroes from epics and legends, as well as landscape studies and paintings imbued with deep symbolism and warmth.

The exhibition will run until November 16.
