At the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, an exhibition titled "Return to the Roots" dedicated to the artist Boobek Arykov has been announced.
Boobek Arykov, a laureate of the S. Chokmorov Award, as well as the awards of Ch. Aitmatov and Abai Kunanbaev, has been serving as a senior lecturer at the I. Razakov Kyrgyz Technical University since 1998. He is a monumental sculptor, painter, and graphic artist who continues to develop the traditions of modern avant-garde in Kyrgyz visual arts.
The exhibition "Return to the Roots" symbolizes the artist's respect for his roots and the history of his people. In his works, he refers to ancient writings (runes), stone monuments, the beauty of Kyrgyzstan's nature, as well as contemporary artistic trends.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 30, 2025, at 15:00.
