At the exhibition, rare exhibits dedicated to the travels and research of Hungarian ethnographer György Almási in Central Asia, as well as the art of Mari embroidery, can be seen.
The Deputy Director of the Sulaiman-Too Museum-Reserve, Khayrullo Ibaiyulaev, noted that this event is aimed at strengthening cultural ties and friendship between the two peoples.
“The exhibition was organized at the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy with the support of the Embassy of Hungary in Kyrgyzstan. We aimed to offer the residents of the city something new and exciting. The exhibition features over 100 historical photographs, as well as ethnographic items and images reflecting Hungarian folk art of embroidery,” he added.
The exhibition will be open to visitors for two months, and residents as well as guests of the city of Osh will be able to attend it.
