In Urkuia Salieva Museum, an exhibition dedicated to national musical instruments will take place. This information was announced by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy.

The opening of the exhibition titled "National Instruments – The Sound of Heritage" is scheduled for November 3 at the branch of the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulaiman-Too."

The main goal of this event is to promote the historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people. The exhibition aims to preserve cultural values and attract the attention of youth to national musical instruments.

Visitors will be able to see folk instruments such as the komuz, kyl kyak, flute, and dobulbas.

Each of the presented exhibits reflects the lifestyle and soul of the Kyrgyz people, as well as their way of life and melodiousness. The komuz, a string instrument, is widely known among the people, while the kyl kyak, a bowed instrument, performs melodies with deep content. These instruments continue to be valued as living heritage and are included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, as stated in the announcement.
