On October 29, the opening of the Days of Russian Culture took place at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov. The ceremony was attended by the culture ministers of both countries: Mirbek Mambetaliev from Kyrgyzstan and Olga Lyubimova from Russia.

In his address, Mambetaliev emphasized the importance of this cultural event, noting that the ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia are based on "a soulful connection, common historical roots, and spiritual values."

Lyubimova, in turn, remarked: "The historical friendship, closeness of spirit, and joint creativity of our peoples is an invaluable asset that will serve as the foundation for further cooperation for many years to come. We are pleased to present outstanding examples of Russian culture and art in Kyrgyzstan."

As part of the festival, viewers were able to see the film "August," followed by a Q&A session with director Nikita Vysotsky and actor Kirill Kuznetsov.

The festival will last until November 1, and all film screenings will be free of charge.
