This event features outstanding specialists such as the Director of the National Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics, Sabyrbek Jumabekov, and orthopedic traumatologist, member of the Turkish Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists, Nurullah Ermiş.
The conference addresses current issues in modern healthcare:
- modern and prospective directions in adult and pediatric orthopedics;
- the latest methods for correcting spinal deformities, such as scoliosis and kyphosis;
- innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment in pediatric orthopedics;
- minimally invasive surgery and 3D planning in 21st-century orthopedics.
“We are actively researching robotic systems and surgical navigation. In the near future, the implementation of such technologies in Kyrgyzstan is planned, which will significantly ease the work of surgeons,” noted Jumabekov.
Additionally, he reported that the construction of the sixth floor of the new National Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics is nearing completion, with the work scheduled to be finished by the end of 2026.
Turkish specialists shared their methods for treating scoliosis and confirmed that cooperation between doctors from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey will continue, including performing surgeries for patients from Kyrgyzstan.
