From November 9 to 20, the international volunteer initiative "Mission GOOD" is taking place in Bishkek and Osh, aimed at supporting specialists working with children who have autism spectrum disorders (ASD), cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the program, four experts from Russia have arrived in Kyrgyzstan: a child psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist, a behavioral analyst, and a speech therapist. They are conducting training for doctors and educators, working in rehabilitation centers, participating in round tables, and providing methodological and practical assistance.
Training is being held for specialists from the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, the Children's Rehabilitation and Family Support Center, the "Ayar" Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, and the Osh Children's Rehabilitation and Family Center.
The mission will conclude on November 19 with a final round table that will take place at the Center for Health Development and Medical Technologies of the Ministry of Health of the KR.
This program is being implemented by the Ministry of Health of the KR in collaboration with Rossotrudnichestvo and the GOOD.RF Association, with the support of the Public Foundation "Deni sak үй-бүлө plus." "Mission GOOD" has been operating since 2021, with the goal of developing international humanitarian cooperation and exchanging practical experience. During its existence, the program's volunteers have assisted over 10,000 specialists and families in more than 20 countries.
This is already the seventh visit of the mission to Kyrgyzstan. In August 2025, volunteers worked in medical institutions in Bishkek.
