An international conference titled "Water, Mountains, and Glaciers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sustainable Future" is taking place in Bishkek. The organizers are the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn and the public fund "Green Energy." Participants of the event include representatives of government bodies, such as relevant ministries and agencies, members of the National Water Council, as well as experts from scientific and educational institutions and diplomats.
The goal of the conference is to strengthen Kyrgyzstan's status as a water and mountain center in the region, as well as to attract international investments and support for the preservation of glaciers and water ecosystems, which contributes to the realization of national interests in the field of water security and sustainable development.
